NLTB Facilities
Charlie Lake Chalet
The closest facility to Fort St John is our Clubhouse which it better know as the "Chalet". It is located on Charlie Lake, adjacent to the Montney Park. It can be accessed by road, or once the lake is frozen there is good access on the lake. This is an easy ride and good for families and new riders. It is available for use by members.
Stewart Lake Cabin
A little farther to the South of FSJ, at the top of the South Taylor hill is the Trailhead for Stewart Lake Trail. This is approximately a 45 km trail that winds through the bush until you arrive at our cabin on the shoreline of Stewart Lake. This is an intermediate skill level trail with some sharp corners and uneven terrain. The trail is marked with KM markers, but does cross multiple other roads and pipelines. A good option if there is local snow and you don't have a full day to commit to riding futher away.
Redfern Lake Main Cabin
Redfern Lake is Trail probably our most used facilities. It will take you right into the Redfern Keily Park and provide you with some awesome views. The Main cabin was the original struture and has quite the history. It is available for use by club membersbut it is classified as an emergency shelter so please view our "Facility Usage Calendar" on the website. Please remember that once in the BC Park, there are restrictions on where we can ride even in the winter. Contact the club if you have any questions.
Redfern Lake Wash Cabin
This is the second cabin that we maintain within the Redfern Keily Park. It is located right on the shoreline of the lake about halfway down the north shore. It is available for use by club members but it is classified as an emergency shelter so please view our "Facility Usage Calendar" on the website. Please remember that once in the BC Park, there are restrictions on where we can ride even in the winter. Contact the club if you have any questions.
Tommy Lakes Cabin
We have a newer facility on Tommy Lakes. It is a long drive to get up there but it is one of the area's that we are currently trying to build up trail network. There are lots of unplowed FSR roads and older pipelines that are ridable, but some are getting a overgrown.
Gleam Cabin
Our newest facility is or Gleam Cabin. The cabin is usable but the trail situation is similar to Tommy Lakes. We are working on a connector trail the will connect the 2 cabins. Lots of older FSR roads and abandoned pipelines to be explored.
